Laney Havard is a multimedia fine artist and graphic designer. Her multi-media work has recently been largely influenced by her desire to look introspectively and reflect on who she is and on her past experiences. Sharing those experiences through her art has acted as a type of therapy for her, allowing her to dig deeper within herself and become more comfortable speaking about sensitive topics. Havard is using multiple mediums to help her discover who she is as an artist while working towards receiving her BFA from Valdosta State University. Laney Havard’s graphic design work has been mostly client based, but recently this theme of self-reflection can be noticed in this area as well.

               Laney Havard’s work has been shown in: Spring Into Art 2022 at the Turner Center in Valdosta, Georgia, Day of Inclusion Art Exhibition 2021 at Valdosta State University, Artspoken Student Exhibition 2021 at the VSU Diversity and Inclusion Office, and the Fall 2019 “Foundations” show in the Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery at VSU.
